The City of Irvine

The City of Irvine is a great place to live and raise a family. It is blessed with a year round moderate mediteranean climate.  Irvine was founded in the early nineteen seventies as a planned communtiy.  The success of that plan is evident everywhere you look.   Irvine  is made up of distinct villages, each with its own characteristics and image.  Our city is proud of its tree lined boulevards and parks.  And, it is very concientious about maintaining its green spaces overseen by a  full time degreed arborist.

Irvine  has consistently been rated as one of the safest cities in the United States.  It has a modern, well educated and responsive police force.  Its community safety is greatly enhanced by numerous well located fire stations staffed by some of society's finest individuals who are quick to respond whether the emergency is fire or health.

It's school district is known internationally for its quality of education.  Many of my clients from other parts of the world seek homes in Irvine primarily for that reason.

It is close to cultural events.  The Barclay Theater in Irvine provides an intimate forum to take in cultural events from all parts of the world.  The Performing Arts Center in nearby Costa Mesa is the home of the Pacific Symphony.  It, also, presents top performers who have gained international recognition.  Many other venues are within close driving distance and offer a variety of live entertainment.

Recreation includes many well run programs for  organized youth athletics and playing fields that are kept in top condition.  Many youth athletes move on to high school athletics at Irvines four high schools.

In addition to organized sports, Irvine is only minutes away from Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Huntington Beach with some of the most beautiful beaches and best surf on the California coast.   And, for surfers who like to utilize their skills on snowboards in the winter, the mountains are only about an hour and a half away.

Dining choices are plentiful in Irvine and throughout Orange County which boasts outstanding restaurants offering a variety of cuisine.

Shopping opportunites abound whether one goes to Irvine's convenient village shopping centers or large nearby internationally known centers such as Fashion Island in Newport Beach, or South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

A purchase of an Irvine home is one of the best purchases you can make both as a financial investment and an investment in the quality of life for you and your family.
